New Autumn Sunburst Save the Date Card Design

I created this new Autumn Sunburst Save the Date card and I’d like your feedback on it. It is not for sale… yet. I entered it in the Seasonal Save the Date design challenge at minted.com. If it wins or is one of the top designs, then it will be for sale on minted.com.
I used deep jeweltones to give this contemporary card an autumn feel even without the typical fall leaf or pumpkin icons. The stylized sunburst is warm and inviting. It is fun, yet formal; bold, yet simple. The squash orange and garnet red sunburst could be used on the wedding invitations and on other wedding accessories, decorations and favors to carry the autumn theme throughout the entire wedding and reception.

My Fav Photo Graduation Announcements

My daughter graduated from high school this year and we had so much fun getting her senior pictures done and then creating her graduation announcements together. I make no apologies to the fact that this is my very favorite photo graduation announcement. We chose pictures that showed off her unique style and personality. We added one of her favorite sayings: “Peace • Love • Idalou.” And since she likes fleur-de-lis, we used a decorative fleur-de-li ornament in a color that matched her photos to add some flair to the announcement. She also chose her favorite fonts that reflect her style. We were very pleased with the final result and she received lots of compliments on them.
