Remembering 9/11 - Do your loved ones know you love them?

September 11, 2009

On this anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks of 9/11/01, as we are honoring all the heroes and remembering those who lost their lives on that tragic day, do you think about your loved ones and wonder if they will know how much you love them even after you are gone?

I used to wonder, but I don’t wonder anymore. I am confident that they will know because I am taking measures to make sure they know. Using this amazing online greeting card system, I am able to create cards and letters to my loved ones and then have them sent out at a later date. (Real, PRINTED greeting cards sent through the US Postal Service, NOT ecards!) With this system, I can even create custom cards using my own photos in a snap.

We purchase life insurance to provide for our loved ones financially, but how many of us make preparations to provide for our loved ones emotionally in the event that tragedy strikes.

Do you have words of wisdom you’d like to give to your child or to a younger brother or sister when they become teenagers… and when they fall in love… or when they get their heart broken? You don’t have to wait. You can write down those words of wisdom now and have them delivered on a specific date in the future.

So, as you are planning your wedding, plan for the future as well.

Leave a comment below or email me at info@joyfulheartdesign.com if you would like to try out this online greeting card system or if you would like more info on how to do this.

Wedding Planning Got You Stressed Out? Don’t Worry, Be Happy!

March 10, 2009

Don’t worry, Be happy!

Getting married should be one of the highlights of your life, so choose to cherish every moment and make happy memories as you plan for your big day.

When you begin to feel your shoulders or your jaw tightening up or notice that you are driving way too fast or becoming irritated at small mishaps, take a deep breath, then remind yourself that you choose to be happy today.

The first and hardest step to being happy is actually deciding to do so, but here are a few more keys that will help you.

Be grateful.

Eliminate hurry.

Take time to rest and reflect.

Move - (you don’t have to call it exercise, just do something you enjoy doing that gets your body moving!)

Smile!
